I once wanted to be famous, but when I achieved it, I have to say it sucked- in quick sucession I won state office then national office (as part of a ticket). as a hint, during the campaign, in a debate I quoted Mr____. My opponent, hateful shit said " I knew ____, and you're no ____. " let me tell you crap like that can ruin a day. I just got heaped upon as being dumb, couldn't spell, whatever. I mean my kids heard it- try telling your kids what you want them to do after they hear Dan Rather basically call you a numbskull- not cool. anyway, years removed it cooled off. I can go to the grocery store without being heckled, for the first few years out, i swear it was always "Hey ____, over here in produce, is this vegetable spelled right?"

So tell us, what are you doing with your free time these days, Mr. Quayle?
