This is not the dumbest thing, but it's up there. One day when I was wearing a fitted, but not tight, cotton blouse, a male colleague, who is of a higher rank than I and technically is in a supervisory role, asked me why my blouse did not have a top button. I looked down at my breasts, looked back at him, and said "It's not supposed to have one."
