Thoughtful Judaism question-
Have the basic texts changed since Jesus' time? Like the Torah, or the Talmud or whatever- did they continue to be written or did they end ancient?

Probably a stp issue, but here's my oh-so-helpful response:
Torah -- uh, no. There have been no changes in the Torah (as such) - ever. Well, that's what the ultra-religious Jews believe anyway.
Talmud -- was written post-Jesus time. It is the writing down of the oral tradition that makes up one of the pillars of Jewish learning regarding "how to live a Jewish life" (vast oversimplification here, but I'm sure you understand... well, actually I'm not so sure, but that's about as much detail as you're going to get from me at this moment.)
The Mishnah is another one of those pillars, and is a study of the Talmud.
Very religious Jews don't really think much about Jesus -- it's just not a factor. I mean, it becomes a factor when one's non-belief in Jesus' [note: this and Moses' are the ONLY two exceptions to the "always add an "s" after the apostrophe to form the possessive" rule] deity/divinity results in one's being put in a concentration camp, but it's just not something that's discussed. Religious Jews study the bible, the Talmud, etc., and Jesus isn't really a factor (although I think the subject of Jesus might be treated briefly in the Talmud or the Mishnah -- but I can't say for sure -- any Yeshiva students out there?).
