Former 'Bandstand' host hospitalized after stroke
NEW YORK - A week after suffering a mild stroke, Dick Clark remained hospitalized and his spokesman announced that Regis Philbin will fill in as host of ABC’s “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2005.”
Just after I made a comment that Dick Clark must be about 90 now, this happens.
Regis. Hmf. What does he know about rock?
Why not someone else? Maybe with a music background or someone who likes music? I'm trying to think of someone who'd be perfect for this, but I'm coming up blank.
