I have to agree with RT here. I think it was the best movie I've seen in years. Maybe it's a gender thing?

You may be on to something. I loved it, and it "stayed" with me for days (kind of like green peppers, but in a good way.) I ordinarily can't stand Kirsten Dunst, but found her to be simply perfect in this role. I have always loved Kate Winslet (with the exception of Titanic, of course), and she didn't disappoint; and even Jim Carrey (that spelling doesn't look right...), whom I ordinarily cannot stomach when he's playing "serious" roles, was endearing.
Speaking of movies -- I think Thurgreed may have a side job as a movie writer. I watched "Dodgeball" this weekend (I rented it for my husband, and he begged me to watch it, because he thought it was absolutely hilarious -- full disclosure, I think he was a little tipsy when he watched it), and it was amusing to be sure. The reason I think TM may be moonlighting is that in a scene where the Ben Stiller character is trying to put the moves on the girl, she kind of "burps" and says, "I just threw up in my mouth a little bit". Of course, the pathetic thing is that I thought, "Hmmm. I wonder why she didn't just say, 'I just TUIMMALB.'"
