Baby Jesus fucking Christ. Kids do not have to be monitored at all times. Shit may happen, but that doesn't mean parents have to be overly protective. This "it's for the kids" mentality in this country is out of control. It makes me want to advocate the Chinese method of binding them up and leaving them by the river for eight hours while mom and dad toil the fields so that the child learns that not every cry is rewarded.
While I am at it, no child should have an identity chips put in them. Any parent who requests one should have their parental rights voided and the child placed in a kibbutz.
