Speaking of manly manicures, SO and I were watching The World Series of Poker on Travel Channel the other night (first time we saw it, great show) and all of the male poker players had manicures with shiny clear polish on their fingers. Thought it was odd, but it appears to be a job requirement. The other thing that was fuuny is that all the final players were caricatures of the various "types" of players -- there was the cowboy (literally he was called the Cowboy), the greasy-slimy gambler guy (with slicked back hair, sunglasses, earrings in one ear and fancy rings on his fingers) and the mathmatician/geek, who quietly sat there in his button down shirt and collected all the chips from the other players.
