Apprentice Spoilers
Christ, could they have telegraphed what they were going to do anymore? They could at least have had the praise be pretty equal or had it go the opposite way, but it was pretty obvious from the very beginning of the Lincoln Center segment that Kelly had won. What a tool. I didn't like him that much, and he doesn't seem that smart. If only Jen had been competent enough in social interaction to see how abrasive she was and how she fucked herself by attacking people when she could have just refuted their points. That was what killed her, I think. Wherever the line for appropriate behaviour and cadence for women in business falls, she fell on the "bitch" side of it. If she were a guy and that abrasive, people would still dislike her.
She'll be ok, though. Fuck, she's probably one of the few people who wouldn't consider the salary alone a windfall. Maybe someone like Pamela, Raj or Chris the stockbroker, too, but it's not like the Rob, Sandy, Andy, Stacy, Jen C., Maria, etc. crowd is making anywhere near that much.
I liked the live aspect of it. It gave us all kids of fun tidbits like the other Jen looking indignant when she thought the runner-up Jen was taking her glory, Pamela* looking pissed when Omarossa suggested she was a bitch and the CEO of that Trump business being so inept at public speaking that he couldn't even explain why he hated Jen so much before he sat down. The set pieces about all the poor behaviour were fun, too, and I can't believe that Ivana didn't even want to say that she wouldn't drop trou again. I wonder if Andy's comment about The Contender was fed to him. Probably. He doesn't actually seem that smart or funny.
* Who, I thought, looked pretty good in those low cut jeans and in Maxim. Large, full breasts and great stomach.
