Uh...no. The point is, he didn't push her very hard at all. In fact, I think he pushed her backpack. A punch in the gut is very different in that it can do actual physical harm.
There is no question that he is an abusive person. And he might very well beat the hell out of her when he is out of control (off-camera). But the fact is, what he did was not physical abuse.
