A friend's inventive way to get around this: she was living in the UK but met a guy on the slopes while on holiday out West. It was only a few days and they didn't hook up completely but they kept up a mean correspondence (they are now married with 3 kids). She didn't want to waste time with a lousy lover so she sent him a really long questionnaire asking how he would or would not do A, B, or C and how. And included stuff like "describe how you would use your tongue." He wasn't offended and was really into the fact that she was into sex that much. He said he loved filling out the racy questionnaire and was really shocked to get it. For her, she mostly wanted to know how into oral sex he was because she is obsessed with it (both ways).
