Apropos of nothing, I heard some pretentious music rant on "Fresh Air" the other day -- apparently, Alberfeldy is the Scottish band that we should all be listening to instead of Franz Ferdinand -- and thought of you.
Then I realized that I didn't even know that Franz Ferdinand was Scottish (or Scots, for that matter), and it was like it was the whole "is Jill Sobule a riot grrl?" thingy all over again. And so I wept.
