Then I realized that I didn't even know that Franz Ferdinand was Scottish (or Scots, for that matter), and it was like it was the whole "is Jill Sobule a riot grrl?" thingy all over again. And so I wept.

Another thing I did this weekend was watch "Fromage '04", which was a show about the worst music videos of 2004 and I realized that I had forgotten that one can say "shit" on Canadian tv without it being bleeped. (It was very cold and snowy out, hence the tv-watching)
