Well, I kinda figured that Fresh Air's Pretentious Music Critic (PMC) would be behind The Zeitgeist's Curve, so to speak, but thought that I would at least be ahead of them. Curious about the PMC, I went to the NPR Fresh Air web page. I read the PMC's top ten. He is not going to turn you on to anything too subversive, it appears, but his list seems decent. I grew suspicious when I read this, though: "Ken Tucker is also a film critic for New York magazine." I'm not saying that you cannot be a music critic and a film critic - I'm just saying it make me suspicious. Jack of all trades and what have you.
