Did any else out there get bit in the ass courtesy of Sallie Mae's calculation "error"???? Apparently 800,000 accounts got f**ked up and they're increasing payments on these accounts to reconcile their little oopise.

I did - I am still trying to get them to explain why based on their schedule - computer-error, I underpaid by $1,000 over a one year period at 4.86%/2.86% and am now expected to repay an extra $5,000 even though they are supposedly crediting the extra interest. I am also trying to get them to correct my interest rate, which is messed up on two of my loans (they should all be the same) and have been working on that for over a year. Good luck straightening out your account.
