How anybody who read the New York Times while Clinton was president could say that the "liberal media" went light on him while he was in office is insane. The whole Whitewater story broke in the Times (before he was president, actually), and the Times was the main media outlet responsible for keeping that story alive after the election.
And don't even make me go back and pull old Maureen Dowd columns.
Oh, and let's not forget where Michael Isakoff (sp. -- sic transit gloria, dude) worked -- Newsweek, part of the Washington Post family.
All of Bill's many sins were laid out all over the place. To pretend otherwise is just stupid.
