Serious Question

I had one of those Seinfeldian moments earlier today where I put some money in a vending machine and my chosen snack didn't fall out of its row to be picked up by me from the bottom, as anticipated. I tried the hitting, jostling, etc., but to no avail, so I returned to my office, took out some more change and headed back to the machine. End result: two candy bars instead of one. Now I already feel bad enough about having resorted to buying a candy bar out of the vending machine in the first place, but the knowledge that I have a second candy bar just sitting there inside of my desk is literally killing me. So should I bust it open and eat it too and just get all of the badness over in one day or should I hold off and eat it tomorrow? I mean once I've wrecked the day, seems like I should really wreck it and work on making tomorrow a candy-free one. Right?

[Ps. I realize I'm not making much sense, but you must understand. There is a candy bar in my desk. Just sitting there. Wait. I think it just said something to me.]
