So, I check out the Rogue Wave web site. And I start reading the reviews. And I begin to think that I hate Rogue Wave. I mean, I read that "'Nourishment Nation' is the Velvet Underground's 'Sunday Morning' without all the drugs." How fucking depressing is that? I see the words Death Cab for Cutie in another review and I am immensely disturbed. Yet another reviewer confesses to liking Iron and Wine and I am about to forget that I ever heard of this piece of shit band called Rogue Wave. But, as I am reading this all in their web site, those cunning bastards have their music playing in the background. And it's not bad. Not bad at all. This will never be my favorite group - they're kind of earnest for my tastes. But still, the songs are kind of catchy in a fairly non-cloying way. And that, my friends, is pretty high praise. Also, the slow song that plays first when you open the web site is kind of "trippy." Like what I imagine an "acid" trip might sound like.

That first song sounds like a segueway out of Drums/Space. Will there be seating at this event?
