Speaking of "jargon we hate," I was very sorry to see John Kerry's "comeback" meet the press interview last weekend because he used the term "modalities," meaning that if I ever see him in person I will now have to bitchslap him. He used it no more eloquently than the 419 scammers who have adopted it with such enthusiasm.
