It was ... [wait for it] ... implied. See when someone says stuff along the lines of "maybe you should find new people to annoy..." and "I'd want to hang around here much more often if you weren't here" the logical step next is something along the lines of "fringey's forcing me off the boards with her horribleness! her or me!"
