Send Champagne.

I hate getting flowers. If I get them at home, the cat will knock the vase over. If I get them at the office it always seems to be on a Friday and then I have to haul them home so they don't go unappreciated, and it's hard to keep those vases upright in the car. If the arrangement includes certain flowers, including lilies, my sinuses attack me. Plus, I usually don't like the flowers in arrangements. I'm not alone in this, am I? I just think delivered flowers are a waste of money. I'd rather get a Hallmark card.

It's of course very hard to communicate this to people who send me flowers. It seems ungrateful. Oh, life is hard.
