That's some good stuff. Two stories from a friend of a friend who has been online dating recently:
1. She went on a date an hour's drive away at a chain restaurant. (she does not typically eat at chain restaurants) The date ordered a cosmopolitan with "extra pink stuff". Then informed her that he still lived with his mother (date is 40).
2. (same girl, different date). She went to meet date at bar. They had a quick drink, then he said he had to make a stop before dinner. Walked out of the bar - both took a cab to residential neighborhood - date's parents' place. Parents were waiting. All four went out to dinner.
Weird!
The thing is, there must have been a clue that these two guys were a little off in the emails. I can't believe that there wasn't. Which makes me wonder why my friend's friend is actually meeting them. Makes for amusing stories though.
