I think you're making yourself look poor here. In the context of the hand and of that game, There's only five better hands he could have had that would beat AK: AA, KK, JJ, KJ or 66. That's it.

Wrong. Other winning hands against your AK are:
K2, J2, J6, 62, 22
ETA: Those are winning hands against you after the turn. After the river, he had a bunch more double pair winners and another trip winner. This is why I very rarely play on high pair. Lots of idiots stay in after the flop when they shouldn't and end up getting 2 pair on the turn or river.
