Speaking of scars, I was reading a casting call for extras, and one of the disqualifiers was "facial scar."
It took me a second to remember that I have two. One is on my upper lip from when I was about ten and was going too fast through the woods on a four-wheeler and ended up with a tree branch in the face. The other was the infamous
rugby scar. I don't think either one of them is particularly noticable unless you know what you're looking for, but it's funny that features that I consider part of my face are disqualifiers. You'd think that "ugly nose" or "lack of discernable eyebrow" would be more of a disqualifier than "facial scar."
