*sigh* I'm not surprised she's from Houston.

The buyer, who did not want to be named because of a company policy forbidding unauthorized conversations with the news media, also noted that a growing number of shoppers at the Neiman flagship store in Dallas, who have had implants, liposuction and lifts or tucks, have abandoned the traditional mother-of-the-bride look. Instead they prefer sexier designers like Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli.

I had dinner with my friend
Vanessa last night, who was telling me about this custom ordered dress in neon green* and pink for a Mother of a Groom. Vanessa was somewhat aghast at what this woman wanted on the dress, including a 18 inch train, all sorts of gathers, and lots of bunting. The mother came in with a friend who inquired if the bride was going to mind. She replied that the bride and groom knew exactly what they were getting into when they decided to have a wedding.
I am happy to see signs that designers may start considering larger chest sizes. Clothes shopping has always been a pain in the fucking ass.

Exact same color as my toes, actually.
