I'm sorry, I missed that part. Where in your post do you say "I want my kid in the school where they teach evolution"? It ain't there, hankypoo, no matter what "thoughts" were wending their way through that dark forest you call a brain.

- did you notice the part of my post where I explained evolution was proven?
Hank, you've gone back and forth on that one about 5000 times. And if anyone else says evolution is proven, you rant and rave.

And no, I didn't notice that. I only noticed some half-witticism about a frozen mammoth.

My whole point forever has been that your position of assuming people who believe otherwise are idiots- read careful here Sidd- since they support their position solely on faith in something that can't be understood makes you an idiot because you take your position solely on faith in something you don't understand. they have faith in God, you have faith in science- you both might want to be quieter bacuase you both simply speak of what you can't/don't know.

Hankypoo, your point is hardly revolutionary, and not all that tough to understand -- why do you assume that no one understands it? But I've never said people who have faith are "stupid" -- that's your pastiche view of all liberals speaking to you (I know, sometimes it's hard to distinguish among the voices in your head. This is the one that's not telling you that Hillary helped Saddam hide all the WMDs.) My most negative opinions on this subject are reserved for the people who take faith and dress it up as science -- the "creation science" types, who purport to look at fossils and determine that they date from the Noahnic flood.... That's a little different than saying that anyone who believes in the Bible is an idiot. Not that I expect you to get the difference, but anyway.

But, tell you what -- from now on, I'll note that I understand Hank's point about the creationism/evolution debate in every post. Will that make you feel better?

However, if you truly believe that evolution is proven, then you are not taking it on faith. Proof and faith are two different things. Unless your point is that you are really the only person on this board smart enough and knowledgeable enough to know. In which case, forgive me, but the laughter pains are killing me.

[note to Hank]I know you just want everyone to know that they shouldn't dismiss people who believe in creationism as mere idiots because when they accept Darwinism they are doing it on faith because no one, other than you I guess, is really smart enough to understand the science of evolution.[/note to Hank]
