My grandmother thankfully nipped the Gumecindo trend in the bud. I don't think anyone was particularly upset that they didn't carry on that particular family tradition.
ETA: Lazaro is the family name that I'd probably bring back. It's been a few generations since anyone's had it, and I think it's pretty cool, despite the potential for mispronunciation / confusion.

Edith is still around and kickin' it old skool. She's the coolest gramma ever to live. Sorry to, like, everyone else (other than my sister and my cousin) for missing out on having World's #1 Gramma (so cool she got rid of the "grand" in grandma).
