I happened to be on the coast, and we got to hear the tsunami sirens and everything, and a very slow-speaking announcer telling us to move to higher ground. The house we were in was only a few yards from the beach, but up about 40 feet, so we weren't particularly worried. Especially after we were watching the news and a seismology expert checked the live data from a buoy off Coos Bay showing a 2 cm wave. Yes, boys and girls, we had a one-inch tsunami.
