Obviously "simpleton" is a gross exaggeration, though I'm sort of a fan of trying to keep things simple myself, so something closer to "simpleton" than "complex person" (i.e., "confused and indecisive person") is probably along the lines of my tastes in people. Within the last month or so. McCulloch certainly doesn't paint him as complexed, though sometimes undecisive in battle. By he isn't the bumbling idiot general that others have painted him to be.
