I think my grandfather and great grandfather, if they were still alive, would agree with Slave on most issues and would consider him a Republican.

Roosevelt was a socialist and soft on the Commies. He sacrificed the liberties of a 100million Eastern Europeans (not counting the Baltic States and the Yugoslavs) to appease Stalin. That's like what Clinton did to Elian to the 100 millionth power.
