Live 8
I've started to watch the Live 8 performances on AOL Music. As I advertised before the show, Kaiser Chiefs were well worth watching. Check them out and see a great band performing in front of a very blase Philly crowd (I guess they were saving their enthusiasm for Keith Urban?)
What other performances were good? The Toronto/Barrie line up was so bad, especially in light of the great Canadian music from the past few years (Arcade Fire, The Dears, Stars, New Pornographers, Broken Social Scene and Feist, Tegan and Sara), it makes me want to puke. Randy Bachman??? Brian Adams??? What's the matter, the Guess Who weren't available?
