Poltics is the following:

(a) boring
(b) annoying as a bar conversation
(c) similar to sports, in which people just want a team to root for (except the fans are bigger dorks)

I like it best when Congress treads water. I prefer that over the whole "Heart of Darkness" aggregate power scenario (for either side). Our founding fathers were brilliant. They understood that normal people go apeshit when given too much control, so they basically ensured that it won't happen. Thus, not much really changes. Power sways back and forth, small changes to law are made, but our government basically just spins its wheels and makes a lot of noise. Kind of like a really loud fart that doesn't smell.
