I break with you there.... One thing W is not is insecure. He reminds me of a few total dicks I've known who realize early in life that they don't have to be smart because they were born on third base. Bush doesn't care that he doesn't know French. He's just pissed some shitbag journalist thinks he's high and mighty enough to make a fool of a fifth generation Bush.
Bush doesn't believe God put him where he is. He believes his blood put him where he is. And he's right. If I were him, I'd act the same way. He's basically royalty. No insecurity there at all. In fact, I think if his handlers didn't force to him to become more well read and act humble, he'd be more unapologetically uninformed and obnoxious just to prove he could be. He's the idiot blueblood who belongs in Vail but accidentally wound up in DC. The more I watch him, the more I realize the early press characterizations were right. Smart, shallow, and ignorant and arrogant as the day is long.
