No shit. Of course the outing itself isn't a huge deal. The devil is in the coverup. That Fitzgerald is still investigating something where its all but certain Rove didn't violate the letter of the law indicates he's exploring a charge related to a coverup or perjury.
And you're nuts if you believe that "Rove is a whistle blower" talking point. Its a "talking point," which means its either a misrepresantation or spin, or it omits a significant fact. You're supposed to foist those points on the press in lieu of actually addressing tough questions on the issues. You're not supposed to believe a fucking talking point. Its assumed that they are lies, diversions, etc... Thats why they're called "talking points" instead of "facts."
