Actually, if you look at the theater numbers for the weekend, that theory is complete bunk. Charlie beat expectations. Guess everyone needed a break from reading about Harry and the gang.
As for the book, i finished it at around 11 AM. The first 500 pages were pretty much a waste. JK is getting Tom Clancy disease. Either that or her editors are too afraid to actually cut stuff out.
I don't really want to discuss the actual story until others have chimed in that they read it. I will say that I was a bit disappointed.
