It is beyond clear that Iraq no longer had a nuclear program -- or Penske, maybe you think they moved a whole nuclear plant or two across the border to Syria without our noticing? -- at the time when they supposedly were trying to buy yellowcake from Niger, which had none to sell Iraq since it was already spoken for. We know this not least because we have been occupying the country for years now and have access to all sorts of information. So there is no question that Wilson was fundamentally right, and Bush et al. were fundamentally wrong.
The only thing that's left is to argue about whether U.S. and British intel had any plausible reason to be so wrong or not -- i.e., could they have been mistaken, or were they trying to deceive.
