That was good reading. It lends a different perspective to the question - "what's being a lawyer like?" I like the viewpoint of being a lawyer is like a business, but not really. As long as I have your permission, I'll raise those points in the phone call I have not yet received from said person wanting to go to lawschool.

Perhaps I should raise the issue that time is important and deadlines are a way of life, and if you're going to expect someone to wait around for your damn phone call all day, well.......then...... I guess someday you'll make partner.
