NPR
Why is it that everyone on NPR has to use a forced, contrived, shrinking violet tone and affectation? I like NPR, but I want to slap almost all of the commentators/hosts. I don't want them to use shrill Hannity or Limbaughesque voices, but why can't they just talk normally? On the ride in this morning, I switched between Howard, some local radio and NPR. Howard talks normally, and the local talk radio people talk normally. Why does everyone on NPR talk like such wimpering fucking simps? I don't understand it. Does everyone on NPR talk that way, or just the morning and late night crews which I tend to hear?
