Yup. Nonetheless, people seem to think there is a problem with the amount we are spending, but are unwilling to acknowledge that the only real answer to spending less is to provide less care. Spending keeps going up, because we keep developing new drugs and treatments to save and extend lives, and because the country is growing older. I suspect most would be happy if we could just hold spending where it is, but that's not going to happen.
