The Texas Governor's office didn't make the law she was arrested and convicted under. It didn't promulgate the sentencing guidelines. It didn't sentence her. The legislative and judicial branches did. He just presided over the ceremony of carrying out the judicial branches order.
By the way, you do realize that Texas did not have a sentence of life without parole when Ms. Tucker was convicted. If Tucker's sentence was reduced to life she would have been eligible for parole in 2003. Of course the liberals would never accept responsibility for the subsequent murders she would have committed in their name.
I think W has a message for Karla and all of the liberals who are soft are crime and seek to undermine our society by supporting those who would destroy it.
