I cannot say enough how much this "sunday/batting practice/alternative home" jerseys idea must be ended. It is an abomination, no matter what team does it. There simply is no excuse. Wear white at home, grey or a dark color on the road.
The only thing worse (and it may not be worse) is the NFL's version when they go monochromatic, such as the black shirts and pants, or the all-cerulean kits the seahawks sported.

Amen, brother. And the reason there are numbers on the jerseys are so you know who the players are -- if you have numbers, there is no need for a name. I am a bit more flexible on this one, but appreciate seeing this look -- the Cubs just returned to this, I think, with their white home jerseys.
