Please tell Paigow that the reason it is thought that one of the sons was gay is that there is a young black man whom we can safely presume is one of their sons holding hands with a young Asian man. He is in the front row at David and Keith's wedding, if I am not mixing up scenes.
I also don't know why you think Brenda remarried twice rather than once. In one of the wedding scenes (again, David and Keith's, or Clare's?), she is apparently pg again and holding hands with a dark-haired man, whom I presume is the husband named in her obituary.

I think Hank misread an interview with Alan Ball which said that Brenda was married twice. Not remarried twice.
