Yes, I'm still thinking about it too, partially because I rewatch a few minutes of it each night.
The montage was fantastic, perfect, really moving. The scenes and the music worked so perfectly together.
I really liked the way Claire became the focal point at the end - and that she did appear to hold on to hope as long as she possibly could. Also, it's really a testament to the writers that the storylines did not wrap up too exceedingly neatly -- with one exception: I thought David's recovery from his unbearable grief and trauma was too quick and the dream where he hugs the demon that is he was a trifle cheesy. That said, it's clear that he was in treatment and on meds and so it's not entirely ludicrous that he had a breakthrough moment. On the other hand, I thought Brenda's dream about the two Nates was an excellent device for showing her progress toward forgiving herself, and her peace didn't appear to come about too quickly at all.
The finale totally redeemed the series, which at many times last season and this one left me cold, PNEU.
