I always love it when people try and arm chair quarterback the Bush's administration political maneuvering. Politically this administration has been brilliant. They have had the most disciplined and politically adept administration in my memory. He has nothing to gain by meeting with hear. It will draw huge media attention, and if she creates a scene, it will cause a media sensation that will last for months.

He is doing exactly what he should be doing. I was at first sckeptical of Bush's not admitting any mistakes during the 2004 campaign. But after I thought about it I realized doing so would not do any good. It would not change any voter's minds. And he won pretty handily so it looks like that was the right decision.
