Specially bred cows are not part of the natural ecosystem.

Originally posted by ltl/fb The sharks are probably more attracted to the puppies or whatever because they thrash around. And the taste is new. So it is probably more efficient to use puppies than to use fish, which are fairly calm when in water.
I am sure something else could be found to thrash. I have seen many a show about Shark hunting and this is the first time I have heard about puppies and kittens. I think it is pretty clear that using them is not necessary.

Originally posted by ltl/fb People feed their pet snakes live rodents, and you don't have a problem with this? Your cats have perfectly good cat food and only really catch the rodents and birds for sport, plus they probably get parasites and shit from them, and you don't have a problem with this? But you are worried about excess puppies off in the middle of nowhere? Would you prefer they starved to death?
I have thought out my ethical opinions on most of this stuff, but don't really want (or feel the need) to get into a drawn out discussion about it with you.
