RL Burnside: November 21, 1926 - September 1, 2005
It is with regret that we pass on the news that a dear friend of ours and father of Duwayne Burnside, the great RL Burnside, passed away this morning in a Memphis hospital. RL was such a large influence for the North Mississippi Allstars family.
We thought it would be a great idea if Duwayne could feel the love and support from the North Mississippi Allstars community. We have set up an address for you to write a message to Duwayne if you wish. You can write to
