eta: just for kicks i decided to see if Tulsa has ever been hit by a hurricane. I could not easily find the answer. But I did find the curious fact that the University of Tulsa's nickname is the Golden Hurricane. Which made me think of RT's sister, nttawwt.

feta: I am reliably informed that Tulsa does, indeed, flood, with some frequency. Or at least parts thereof. No offence intended to those who have experienced them. I shall research further whether this is a result of Bush's wetlands "policy."
Indeed Tulsa does "flood." And people "die" in the "floods." I think it mainly has to do with being on a floodplain. But the houses/apts not on floodplains are more expensive, for some reason.
