There are also reports that Bush asked La. to hand control over, but the request was denied. Because your side tries to blame everything on Bush, the responses that point to others as being the ones at fault are inevitable.

2. People need some fucking perspective. Many times more than the Katrina victims have been killed and/or displaced in Iraq, and those were totally preventable. W's incompetence bothers me less than his venality.
