Give me a break. You were trying to defend the Senator consorting with Castro. At least stand by your own statements. A person in such a public position to hang and and "have fun" with a brutal dictator is poor judgement. I am sure there were many political dissidents rotting in a Cuban prison that did not appreciate a US Senator symbollically legitimizing his policies.

Maybe if your comment was to defend a conservative Senator consorting with fascist politician, then your following defensive comments might have been believable, but knowing your politics it is clear why you tried to justify the meeting between the Senator from Louisiana and the enslaver of Cuba.
