The guy focuses on the star on the back of the one chick's t-shirt to baldly assert that she is a commie without telling us what the text on the front of the shirt says?
His point about stage management creating images is valid, though, and non-partisan. When Bush (or Clinton or whoever) has their picture taken, the cameras don't usually show the work that's gone into setting up the shot.
Reagan's people were the masters of this, of course. But Clinton's folks did a pretty good job at it, too.
