I did not know that. That was also the name of the Enterprizes sister ship in the Next Generation. Anyone know if the Yamato was named after the Yamato for some lets all hold hands and sing kubaya reason - Enterprize - US WW II Ship - Yamato - Japanese WW II Ship. Any Trekkies know?
